Sample categories

I have enjoyed being a consulting astrologer for over thirty years to an international clientele to people of all ages, genders, and backgrounds. As a full-time astrologer, I am also an astrology teacher, public speaker, researcher, and writer. With a background teaching in psychology and sociology, my greatest enjoyment and personal learning come from adapting to the needs of clients as the world continues to change. My aim with clients is to help guide them through challenging times and to help understand 'what is going on' as well as the timing of events and themes in their lives.
I have served on the board of the Astrological Association since 1999, first as Treasurer and then as Chair from 2002 until the present. I have been the principal of the international Mayo School of Astrology since 2007 (founded in 1973) and we were the first international school to offer online certificate and diploma programmes (since 2009). I sit on the board for the APAE (Advisory Panel for Astrological Education since 2000) and am also a board member for IAEA (International Association for Ethics in Astrology). I have recently joined Lampeter University, Trinity St David as a tutor on the MA programme for Cultural Astronomy and Astrology - which is also the master's programme I completed in 2003. In 2014 I received the UK Charles Harvey award by the UK astrological community for 'Exceptional Service to Astrology'.
I have lectured and held workshops on astrology in several places around the world including Poland, Portugal, Norway, Serbia, Germany, Australia, New Zealand, Taiwan and several times in the UK, the US, Greece, Mexico and Turkey. What I have enjoyed so much about these travels is not just the place, but mostly the people and being honoured to spend time working with astrology weaved through the richness of different cultures and approaches and with amazing people from all over the world.
